Payment and security
Payment can be made by cheque (made payable to ‘Asterisks and Obelisks’) or by credit and debit card (Mastercard, Visa and Maestro). The secure site we use is hosted and operated by HSBC, so you can be confident that personal information is safe. Please note your card will not be debited until the goods are despatched.
Delivery
Delivery times on orders of three obelisks or less are approximately ten days to two weeks, as obelisks are finished and painted to order in our small workshop. Orders of more than three obelisks will take longer. At busy times delivery times may increase. We will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date.
We will deliver to the address you provide and in accordance with any instructions from you. A signature is required on delivery. We cannot be liable for any damage or loss once the obelisk(s) has/have been delivered as instructed. Delivery times are not guaranteed and we will notify any delay to you as soon as possible.
Delivery costs to the UK mainland are included in the prices quoted. Please contact us for a quote for delivery to addresses outside the UK mainland.

Privacy
We need certain kinds of personal information so we can process and deliver your order, but we never provide any of this information to mailing lists or third parties.
Cancellation
Please contact us within two working days if you wish to cancel your order.
Refunds
We will refund obelisks within 7 days of delivery if they are unused, in their original condition and in their original packaging. Please contact us to arrange collection.
Damage in transit
Please check your order carefully after delivery, and advise us of any damage by 5.00pm on the next working day after delivery. We will then arrange for a replacement or a refund.
Quality concerns
We want all our customers to be completely happy with their obelisks, but if you have any reservations, please contact us within 30 days of delivery and tell us your concerns and we will do our best to resolve them.
We have done our best to ensure that the photographs on the website of our obelisks
and the paint colours we use are as accurate as possible; however some slight variations
can be expected. Wood is a natural product, and some movement is normal and inevitable
when the wood shrinks and expands as a result of weathering. It is possible that
cracks and openings may appear in the obelisk, but this will not affect the strength
of the structure.
